Hockey Recruiting : Some Article Shares – Recruits – 99′ Michigan Players

Here’s a few shares of the best hockey articles I’ve seen recently. The news varies from Massachusetts HS hockey to the best Michigan players at the Select 15 tournament.

^ Hockey Night In Boston’s annual Sophomore All-Star Tournament and Junior High School Festival will be held concurrently July 13-18 at The Haverhill Valley Forum in Haverhill, MA. – @KDoyle40 on Twitter.

^  Check out the loaded Boston Jr. Bruins organization.

^ A cool article that has ESPN  covering some recruiting.

Relevant Links will be set to this page periodically.

^ Keith Petruzelli, a 99′ goaltender who is already committed to Quinnipiac, an excellent prospect.

Keith Petruzelli is already 6’5-161. He’s an elite 99′ goaltender who played for Cathedral High in 2013-2014 and is also a member of the Boston Jr. Bruins U-16 team. He’s slated to play at Quinnipiac beginning in 2017-2018.

His brother is 2 years older and is a forward at Springfield Cathedral High – he’s also committed to Quinnipiac. (They have a thing for siblings) . The New England Jr. Falcons claim rights to his development : This is obviously a pretty talented player at a young age. A commitment to Quinnipiac though? We’ll see how committed the 15 year old really is.

The Michigan District released a team of their best 99′ born players for the Select 15 Festival. Talk about a tough roster to crack. Michigan has some of the best USA Hockey programs in the country (Honeybaked, Compuware, Little Ceaser’s,  etc.). Here’s the players that were taken that I thought were interesting and deserve some brief coverage.

(G) Nickolas Donofrio – Detroit Compuware – One of two goaltenders selected. Check him out here :  .

(F) Dustin Manz – Detroit Compuware – Not great size, but a talented point producer.

(G) Dylan St.Cyr – Probably one of the big names here. Because of this : His Mom was in the NHL ! (Manon Rheaume)

(F) Michael Pastujov (F) – I would assume he is the best of the group, but I could be wrong. Do know that his brother Nick was the captain of the ultra-talented U-16 team that Michael was also a member of. (He played a year up).
